A very special Happy Birthday to my good friend Jayme! 

Ok, but what.... kind of a good friend sends a birthday card WITHOUT a stamp!!?!! 
{I do some of the strangest things these days} I have to set up reminders on my google calendar for the smallest of things, one included the simple task of "sending Jayme's card in time to make it for her Birthday"

so... 

let's rewind back to Tuesday afternoon...

{insert waynes world sound effect here}

I was running errands on the rainy tuesday afternoon, and on my list was

"post office: get stamps, mail Jayme's bday card" 

Seems simple enough, I can handle that. WELL apparently not... I got to driving and when I drive I always figure out my route making sure that I don't have to backtrack at any point. For this trip.... as I was driving I was like "oh I can stop at the USPS building that has just drop boxes, its on my way to so and so... etc...." 

O... K... so I arrive to my 1st stop {the mailbox} TOTALLY distracted by my genius thoughts of... who knows what... ANYWAY I pull up to the box and I dropped my prompt wedding RSVP AND Jayme's card into the box. Simple, bam, done... right!? riiiiiiiiight....

Well... as the card{s} were dropping I SWEAR... {or at least it dawned on me at that instant}... ok back to swearing, I SWEAR- I heard the card yelling back.... noooooo waaaaiiiittttt YOU FORGOT THE STAMP ON JAYME'S CARD!!!! so there I sat staring at the mailbox with a blank stare... ugh.


OYE- needless to say, I called up Jayme right away to apologize in advance for this PREGGO brain of mine. She didn't answer, but called back later in the day to laugh at me and said the story was better then the card. hehe

NOW... fast forward to today {Thursday, Jayme's birthday} and she calls to tell me that the birthday card arrived.... WITHOUT the stamp!! hahaha too funny. The mail drop box felt sorry for me right away and did me a favor- he/she {yes the mail drop box is the he/she} knew this card was for a special friend and needed to arrive to her on time!
