What to do for a cooking class in the lucky and green month of March... hmm.....
Well... if anything, the meals that we created will do nothing SHORT of please ANYONE in your crowd that you cook for! We took three pretty basic meals/sides added a twist to each of them- making them quite charming!
Our menu included: Scalloped Potatoes, but not with ham... we added steak! yum! Coleslaw, but with cransins and radishes with Balsamic Vinegar dressing- yum! yum! Sauerkraut & Swiss Casserole {hotdish}, the difference... even the NON-sauerkraut class members were liking this one and going back for seconds! yum! yum! yum! Breadsticks- but tied in knots brushed with grapeseed oil and a dusting of the POM: Wildtree's Onion & Chive Blend.
Avrie and I attended both classes yet again this month. Class one was very small and the perfect catch up session with some of my favorite people! Class two was a baby play-date! We had three babies babbling, crawling and talking up a storm! Avrie had a great evening with her two buddies Nolan & Parker. Jen who is due this summer also had her baby along- in belly! ;)
After a very filling dinner- we enjoyed the classic treat of iced shamrock sugar cookies. It was the perfect touch of after dinner sweetness.
April is ALREADY here- which means time for more cooking! Can't wait- see you then!

Scalloped Potatoes with Steak? I so just googled a recipe for that! It may have to be one of my "meat meals" this month... and I might be able to get J to try scalloped potatoes (which I LOVE) if it has steak in it, which he loves!
Thanks for the great dinner idea... hope all is well with you and your family!
